Sour Cherry Protein Gummies Recipe

Bloom the gelatin (no heat): In a small bowl, sprinkle 3 Tbsp gelatin over ½ cup cold water. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes to hydrate.

 

Warm the base & dissolve magnesium: In a saucepan, whisk together 1 cup cherry juice and ½ cup water. Sprinkle in the 1UP Nutrition Cherry Mint Mojito Super Magnesium powder and whisk until fully dissolved and then heat gently over low until steaming (about 140–150°F / 60–65°C). Do not boil.

 

Melt in the gelatin: Remove the pan from heat. Add the bloomed gelatin and whisk until completely dissolved and the liquid turns clear and glossy.

 

Cool slightly, then add the protein (to prevent clumping/foam): Let the mixture cool to about 110–120°F / 43–49°C (warm to the touch, not hot). In a cup, make a quick slurry by mixing 1 scoop 1UP Nutrition Sour Cherry Clear Protein with 2–3 Tbsp of the warm mixture. Whisk this smooth slurry back into the pot slowly, stirring gently to minimize foam. 

 

Mold and chill the gummies: If there’s foam, skim it off (or pour through a fine mesh). Transfer to silicone gummy molds (or a parchment-lined 8×8" pan). Refrigerate 2–3 hours until fully set.

 

Unmold and store!
