This is her story

“I stumbled across 1up nutrition many years ago when I was searching for quality supplements that had good reviews. I spent over 15 years in the supplement business as a store manager for a huge supplement company. I’ve tried numerous brands of almost all supplements, and I was impressed with the quality and taste of 1UP. I loved what the company stood for and their dedication to their customers. After the birth of my last two kids, I became a stay-at-home mom and gained a lot of weight I had previously lost many years ago, I was determined to get back into my “fighting” shape. Sadly, I joined many challenges, bought many products, and never followed through. Feeling defeated, I decided to try one last time. I joined the challenge and made a promise to myself and my children that this time I would finish. I learned to change my mindset and visualized myself winning every day. When I felt like not working out or if I was having a bad day, I would picture others working hard to win and told myself if I don’t go, I would not place. Any workout is better than no workout! Being a mom working both a full and part time job and trying to get a workout in became a challenge all on its own, even though I train boxers at night I was overwhelmed and embarrassed by my weight. I started waking up at 2 am to get in a full workout including running up to 4 ½ miles, jumping rope, shadow boxing and abs 6 days a week in addition to my boxing workout at night. I took 1 up nutrition peanut butter chocolate protein in the morning, BCAA’s during/after my workout and the women’s pre-workout for energy. I changed my diet to lean protein including egg whites and lean chicken, dark leafy greens and one apple a day. In addition, I cut out all sweets and dairy. The most important thing I learned is motivation fades quickly it’s discipline that is going to get you through the tough times. If I can do it anyone can!“
