Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups dates
- 1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts
- 5 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
- 1 Scoop @1upnutrition Chocolate ISO protein
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons warm water
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a food processor and mix well. If mixture is too thick and clumps up in the food processor, add 1-2 tablespoons warm water slowly to keep blending. Once finished, the mixture will be very sticky. Line a large plate or cutting board with parchment paper. Grease your hands with a bit of coconut oil, grab some of the date mixture and roll it into a ball or any other shape. Once rolled, have a plate with coconut flakes and press down onto the flakes to make sure it sticks. Repeat until no batter remains. If you’d like, you can add some melted dark chocolate on top as well. Put them into the freezer for 30 mins and enjoy!
