This is his story
“When I first started this challenge, it was another challenge where I couldn't see myself making a change that would make an impact on my life or others in just 8 weeks, 50 years old, severe arthritis in my shoulder, 2 knee surgeries, and a silent relationship depression for nearly 7 years. I had many excuses and I was in a very dark place. I was in ok shape 10 years ago, but as all this was taking place I slowly slipped in a very unhealthy way of life. I resorted to alcohol and bad eating habits to cope with my troubles. I gained over a 100 lbs. before I even acknowledged I was out of shape. I needed to make a change in my life and when I saw the challenge on social media, it was the spark to start the fire I desperately needed. This was my "3rd" challenge and I never finished any of them except this last one.
I saw encouraging words daily from all of the members of 1Up transformation group; whether, it was about me or someone else. More and more I felt comfortable sharing my struggles and that I wasn't the only one. I’ve had the desire and the will, but I just never committed before. I’ll tell you that results don't come easy, but stepping one foot into that gym, at home, or wherever is one more step than what you have been doing - Obviously, that wasn't working.
I would like to thank 1Up Nutrition for offering so many products, assistance when needed, and for helping me make the decision to make a change in my life.
I proved to myself that by staying being "consistent," I would make that change and others would notice too. This is just the beginning.This isn't the end, it's just a new beginning for an amazing transformation for tomorrow for first and foremost myself.
I just want my wife to know that I am truly sorry for who I was. She has stayed the course, when some may not have. Tomorrow is never promised, but today I am a better man. Thank you 1UP for helping me kick start my journey.”
