This is his story

 

“As I look back and reflect on the past 8 weeks going into the New Year, I've learned a lot. I've learned how to hold myself accountable and not make excuses on what should be and what shouldn't. Over the Last 16-18 months I've lost a lot physically and especially mentally. Being in a dark place with myself and a sunken hole after losing my job due to Covid and after losing a mother. I created bad habits where I stayed up late playing video games and eating junk food, I got careless and didn't think about my health, and that drove me to even more destruction and being depressed. I was always seeking attention and needing constant validation from people through social media just to compensate for my own insecurities I had deep down inside. One text message broke me down instantly and made me want better for myself and that's what led me to join and fully lock in on the #1UpNutritionTransformationChallenge. I knew it was going to take at least 21 days to break the bad habits I built. I wrote down what I wanted to accomplish from the start to the end of the challenge and used that as my resource to guide me through the 8 weeks, I learned during the challenge if you aren't preparing to prepare you are preparing to fail. This Challenge has helped me gain my confidence back where I felt comfortable being around and seeing people, I started smiling more laughing more and it felt great. Every day was something to look forward towards in the Facebook group filled with wonderful people with positive energy where people were going through the same similar struggles helping one another out. It gave me hope I could actually do it with the tons of support backing me up. So If you are lost and wondering how to get started, I'd say take 1 day at a time keep it simple control the things you can control and let go of the things you can't. At the end of the day it's ultimately You vs. You!”
