Congratulations to our 2022 Spring 8 Week #1uptransformationchallenge Female 1st place $10,000 cash prize winner Joel Rodriguez @redguap6
This is his story
“I ran across this challenge on IG a year back, I’ve been on the fb group for a while now but kind of just watched how positive, motivating, and inspiring everyone was, no negativity, coaches very helpful, message or call away, and nutrition plans personally for you! Also, very effective supplements that I had taken in the past, so when my doctor told me my health was pretty bad and I was prone to becoming a diabetic if I didn’t change my bad habits, I knew exactly where to run to. I knew it would get me in the right direction and it did! it has changed my life. I was scared for my health and family, I have lost a loved one before and have not recovered from it in 7 years. I would not want my kids to go through something like that over health problems that I have control over. During this challenge I started realizing that I can live without the bad habits for a longer period of time than I thought which led me to lose over 50 lbs in just 2 months! I learned how to stay disciplined even when the scale didn’t drop. The old me would’ve gone on an eating streak and that’s why I was stuck being overweight, but with the 1UP fb group friends positive and inspiring comments I was able to get through. Even when my whole household got covid during the 2nd 1/2 of this challenge, The 1UP fb friends motivation kept me on the right path. My advice to anyone trying to lose weight, be healthier or doing this challenge would be to stay consistent no matter what the scale says, if you know you’re making healthier choices you will become healthier, and the scale will eventually drop. Don’t be afraid to reach out to the coaches or friends on the 1UP FB group, they will be happy to help you with anything. Again, big thank you to everyone involved in this journey with me, I am looking forward to helping others, becoming better and healthier from this point on. See you all in the next challenge!”
