Congratulations to our 2025 New Years 8 Week #1uptransformationchallenge Female 1st place $10,000 cash prize winner Ashley Kendrick
This is her story:
Four years ago, life threw me a curveball. After my son was born, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. The weight piled on. I fell into that dangerous trap of thinking, "This is it. This is my new normal." I convinced myself that my diagnosis was a life sentence to being overweight, a convenient excuse to just give up. My energy plummeted, and I spiraled into unhealthy habits, feeling more miserable every day. Sound familiar? I know so many of us have those moments where we feel like our bodies have betrayed us, like our goals are unattainable. It's easy to let those feelings win.
Then, my sister told me about this challenge through 1Up Nutrition. What did I have to lose? I started with a few of their protein powders – and let me tell you, the flavors were incredible, making staying on track with my calories surprisingly easy. I also added their hormone support supplement. I noticed a difference immediately. I felt...better. More balanced. More energized.
But the real game-changer? The community. The challenge included access to a private Facebook group, and it was like finding my tribe. These weren't just random people; they were fellow warriors, all on their own journeys. They understood the struggles, the setbacks, the little victories. They cheered me on when I wanted to quit, and celebrated with me when I hit my milestones.
Being a busy mom with health challenges gave me a million reasons to throw in the towel. But the feeling of accomplishment, of proving to myself that I was stronger than I thought? That was worth every single drop of sweat. This wasn't just about losing weight. It was about reclaiming my life. I have the energy to play with my kids again. I feel stronger, more mobile. Daily life just feels... brighter.
I'm incredibly grateful for the tools and support I found. Not just the products, which are amazing, but the sense of community. It's proof that sometimes, all you need is a little push and a lot of encouragement to rediscover your strength.
If you're reading this and you're at the beginning of your fitness journey, or if you're feeling like you're about to give up, please, don't. You are capable of so much more than you think. You’re stronger than you know. Your body is capable of amazing things. Find your community, find your fire, and keep pushing. You've got this.
