This is his story:

 

My journey through the 1 Up Nutrition transformation challenge has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in years both mentally and physically. I started at 197.6 lbs and pushed myself all the way down to 162.2. But beyond the numbers, this journey helped me reconnect with a version of myself I hadn’t seen in a while the one who thrives on discipline, structure, and pushing limits.

 

As a former U.S. Marine, I’ve always valued physical fitness, but life outside the Corps brought new challenges. Advancing in my career and raising young kids meant my priorities shifted, and like many, I started to gain weight and lose focus on my own health. That’s why this challenge meant so much it was a chance to take back control and invest in myself again.

 

I committed fully: working out 7 days a week, sticking to a strict diet, and cutting out alcohol. I followed the 1 Up Nutrition workouts religiously but also added extra cardio to accelerate results. Sundays became my active recovery day a lighter pace to let my body reset while still staying consistent.

 

The 1 Up Men’s Weight Loss Stack was a huge asset. It helped curb cravings, control hunger, and gave me the clean energy I needed to show up and push through every session. The supplements, the structure, and the support from the 1 Up community made a real difference.

 

But none of this would’ve been possible without my family. My wife, Rachel, the incredible mother of our two beautiful kids, has been my rock through this entire journey. She gave me the time, encouragement, and space to focus on this goal, even on days when it meant sacrificing time or plans. Her belief in me never wavered, and that constant support kept me going even on the hardest days.

 

My kids are my big motivators too. They watched me wake up early, stay consistent, and take care of my body and I hope that sets an example for them. I wanted to be the best version of myself not just for me, but for them.

 

My brother, David, also helped keep me locked in we tackled this challenge together, holding each other accountable and staying focused. It was powerful to have that level of accountability and motivation side by side.

 

This experience reminded me that no matter how hectic life gets, with the right mindset and a strong support system, you can prioritize your health and transform not just your body, but your lifestyle. I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made and deeply thankful to my family, my brother, and the 1 Up community for being part of it.
