Congratulations to our dear customer and 8 week #1uptransformationchallenge participant Adam Eberhardt @adamjeberhardt on a fantastic transformation!
This is her story
Ever since I got into my late 30’s and 40’s I always put on 20 or more pounds during Fall and Winter every year. A contestant and friend of mine told me about the 1UP Nutrition Challenge so I looked it up and was on board. The biggest obstacle I had overcoming in the past was continuing to live a healthy lifestyle and staying fit once the challenge was over. In all honesty, the challenge, competition, and the money were the sole motivating factors for me. However, with 1Up Nutrition there are many 8 week challenges throughout the year and the only thing required for the prizes is to purchase one item. I mean it was a no brainer to join the 2nd challenge this year. I still fell off the wagon a little between challenge 1, 2, and this current challenge but by the end of the second challenge I was healthier and looked better than I did at the end of the first one. So like the slogan #BecomeBetter, my goal is to surpass my Challenge 2 results this time. Thanks to 1UP Nutrition it is now August, and I am on a path towards being in the best shape of my life this fall instead of trending to being fat and unhealthy again. Also, the multiple posts of successes, trial and errors, from other contestants, and friends that I have made has been a huge factor of me not giving up this time and really going after that best version of myself.
I considered myself knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and nutrition as I have dabbled with lifting weights and what not since I was a kid. I will say that being in the Facebook group has broadened my horizon. I’ve learned about so many supplements, nutrition, and exercising way beyond any expectations I had going into this.
Advice that I would give to anyone starting out would be to make a plan with reasonable but tough goals and write them down. 1UP does an excellent job in giving you a blueprint for your nutrition and working out. Use those resources and ask questions from the group because they are very helpful.
Always remember that when you have a bad meal, a bad day, or a bad week because it will happen. Don’t quit! Use that to motivate you to work even harder and #BecomeBettter!
