Congratulations to our 2024 Summer 8 Week #1uptransformationchallenge Female 1st place $10,000 cash prize winner Yvette Martinez @evee_fits
This is her story:
I am beyond happy and grateful to be able to have my hard work recognized. There was constantly this little voice in my head that would say, it’s ok one day won’t hurt, you can work out extra to burn those fries, just 10 more minutes in bed then I can get up. But those minutes are crucial. Trying to balance a life where I work full time, mom full time, wife full time, studying, and everything else in-between, it got hard to try to make time to dedicate to working on myself.
I came across the 1UP challenge on IG last year and I tried it out but I always gave up 4th or 5th week in. I let my doubts win, myself neglect win, my ability for self discipline went out the window. Then I would see the winners and would think, oh man what if I would have stuck to it, that could be me. I had to do it, had to stick to it. Had to prove to myself that with hard work and dedication, it’s possible. So I did. The Supplements helped me so much with my energy and getting good rest when I did get to rest. I stuck to my routine of waking up at 5, cardio around the block, weights at 530, 6 get the kids ready for school/breakfast, 7 got myself ready for work, and by 8:30 we were all where we had to be. Let me tell you that was the hardest part, sticking to it. By week 4 the laziness was there, week 5 I was ready to give up again, but I stuck to it. Stuck to my Supplements(L-Carnitine being my top fav!!), stuck to my motivational podcasts, stuck to viewing all the winners and how happy and healthy they looked. I’m excited to start sharing all my knowledge of what helped me, because my transformation wasn’t only physical, this 1UP challenge also helped me transform my mentality and helped me push my own boundaries and become a better role model for myself and those around me. The transformation felt more internal. Thoughts wise and something i struggled with for the last 3 years, strengthening my pelvic floor. I hope to keep being a motivation and hopefully one day an Inspiration to others.“
