This is her story
“When I joined the 1Up Nutrition Transformation challenge it wasn’t easy at all. At the time, I was suffering with daily chronic episodes of anxiety due to the pandemic. As a first responder, I experienced a lot of loss. But, I never lost the drive to become a better version of myself!
I was told many times to accept that I was over 50, and that it was going to be hard to lose weight and/or maintain muscle mass in 8 weeks. I am here to tell you that I am proud to be a 51 year old woman, who has conquered this challenge in 8 weeks. Not only that, but I was the 3rd place female winner!
This challenge didn’t only help me lose 33 lbs. using the 1Up Nutrition products, but it also helped me gain back my mental sanity and my beautiful physique.
In life, sometimes we expect too much and we forget the importance of living until certain things happen that make you think otherwise. I have been through a lot of tough things in my life, but I have faith and always try to keep a smile on my face. I have learned that being focused, committed, determined and having a positive mindset is key to a successful transformation.
Being consistent with my meal plans, using 1UP Nutrition products & workouts was the biggest reason that I was able to transform my physique. I joined this transformation challenge with a mindset to give it my all for the next 8 weeks and I did! I am extremely proud of my accomplishments and I have to say that I have become the best version of myself at 51!
This challenge has kept me on track from day one. It taught me how important it is to dedicate time to yourself to maintain a healthy lifestyle and it taught me how I can help and motivate others on a daily basis. That makes me proud of the person I am today! I’m looking forward to seeing where this new fitness journey takes me because thanks to this amazing opportunity I have become stronger in mind, body, and soul. That for me is priceless!”
