Congratulations to our Summer 8 Week #1uptransformationchallenge female 4th place $3,000 cash prize winner Tiffany Mireles (FB/TiffanyMireles)
This is her story
“ My fiance and I always talked about starting our fitness journey, however, every time we started we ended up at square one. One day he sent me a text about the 1Up Challenge, and the first thing that came to my mind was doubt. However, despite being hesitant I decided to join him and signed up. Once the challenge started I realized it wasn’t going to be easy, but I was determined to push through. I wanted to prove to myself that I could finish something. It was the small changes that kept me motivated throughout the challenge and my fiancés voice of reassurance.
Throughout the challenge I ran into several obstacles, but the biggest one was temptation. I work at a clinic and our patients are always bringing in food/desserts. Pharmaceutical reps constantly spoil us as well. I had to constantly fight cravings and temptation throughout the challenge. But, it does get easier.
In the short (8) weeks of the challenge, I learned that I was capable of achieving my fitness goals, and to my surprise that I could achieve them in a shorter time frame. I had my heart set on making a transformation both mentally and physically, and learned that it was possible with the help of 1Up Nutrition.
In the end, I learned that in order to accomplish your fitness goals you have to make sacrifices. But, I finally proved to myself that I could make it to the finish line. The 1Up Transformation Challenge was a stepping stone for me, and I am so thankful I decided to join because I am NOT the same person I was going into this challenge.
I would advise anyone just starting their journey to think about their goals, write them down on paper, and then work on them daily. Remember why you started and let that be your motivation. You will not see results overnight, but I am here to tell you that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Keep pushing through your journey with your head held up high and know that each day you work towards your goal is an accomplishment.”
