Congratulation to our dear customer and 8 week #1uptransformationchallenge participant Samantha Legare @samiamgreeneggssandham on a fantastic transformation!
This is her story 👇
“ Over the course of the last few years, I was able to lose 50lbs.
Since then, I’ve always been in search of ways to make myself better and I felt this 8 week challenge would put me on a path of a continuing journey. I wanted to really challenge myself and I entered muscle gain category for this challenge.
During the challenge I felt focused because it came at a time where our state was locked down. It encouraged me to see how I could push myself mentally and physically in times such as these. To see the small changes that would appear on my body and lifting the heaviest weights I never thought I could. I also felt confident after a few weeks with the workout moves and mastering them. One big obstacle I faced was being in a state of shut down without access to any gym or machines, I had to be creative. During the challenge I only used barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight and modified most exercises to make sure all muscle groups were targeted. Being a mother was also a challenge, it was hard to be selfish and make time for myself to workout. I would often try to include my daughter in the workouts to be a good role model for her and include her in my process. There’s so much that goes into a challenge on the “mental side” that many either don’t know about or under appreciate. I learned a lot during this challenge. You learn a lot about yourself, whether it’s how my body reacts to foods, new ways of training, or even just how I reacted in certain situations. I realized It’s not a matter of suddenly transforming your body. It’s a matter of hard work and transforming your mind to help transform your body.
My overall experience was a feeling of great accomplishment, understanding this wasn’t just a challenge, it’s now a journey that has motivated me to compete in my first ever bikini competition & be a role model for my daughter and inspire anyone around me!
A tip I would give anyone starting their journey is to trust the process and believe in yourself !”
