This is her story
“This is by far one of the hardest things I have done for myself in a short time. I began this challenge with a lot of doubts in my mind: the fear of embarrassment, disbelief and failure was all over me. I’ve wanted to lose the extra weight I gained when my dad passed away in 2020 with no success. My health was borderline and my self-esteem was declining. Then I knew that I had to take charge and make serious changes in my life. My sole purpose for me joining the challenge was to beat the old version of me, get off my comfort zone, get over my excuses, get healthier and happier whether regardless of placing or not. I didn’t have any other option but to get all the negative thoughts out of the way.
With no idea of what I was doing, I started to make a lot of drastic changes. I woke up every single day at 5am to workout, I changed my nutrition, I added supplements into my routine and little by little I started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I became stronger, not only physically but emotionally as well. As the challenge progressed, I also started to see changes in my body, energy, enthusiasm; living exactly how I was envisioned.
I learned thru out the challenge that being disciplined will take you to achieve what motivation can not. There is nothing that we can’t achieve if we believe in ourselves because everything we need to change it is within us. We are definitely stronger than we think.
For those who are in the path of changing their life for good, set your mindset strong, be disciplined, set your goals ahead of time, nutrition and right supplements are key, and workout smart! Remember, small steps lead to big transformations. Keep pushing forward, and your resilience will continue to yield results.”
