This is her story
“Hello, my name is Kimberly and I joined the1 Up Transformation Challenge at a perfect moment. I had just given birth to my second child. I was ready to work on myself and bring out the best in me. Not only physically but also mentally. I knew this was going to challenge me in so many ways and I was ready to be disciplined and do this for me because I deserve it.
During the challenge there were a lot of times where it got really difficult to say no to some of my favorite foods and pastries. The way I overcame temptations was I told myself that I’ll have my favorite food and pastry once the challenge is over. I also had a lot of trouble with certain exercises such as planks but slowly I got better and was finally able to hold position for a whole minute. This felt unreal and I was so proud of myself for not giving up.
The main thing I got out if this challenge is self discipline and also a start to my fitness journey. I plan to make meal preps and working out as part of my lifestyle. I am thankful for this amazing journey.”
For those who are just beginning their fitness journey I would advise them to really follow the meal plan and exercise plan to the best if their ability. I kept telling myself, it’s only 8 weeks. This is such a short time and I was able to lose 20 pounds. You can do it too.
