About four years ago I lost myself and let an eating disorder take control of my life. After so many months of pretending to be someone I wasn’t and hurting my body, I decided to take matters into my own hands and recover. I spent four months in an intensive treatment program, graduated, and took the time to re-learn what I had forgotten about health and self-love. Since then I have been training consistently and competed in both bodybuilding and powerlifting. It’s been an incredible journey, but I know how much more I still have left in me. But if I had one piece of advice to suggest, it would be to work on improving one thing about yourself every day. Whether that be physically or mentally, strive for a better tomorrow, and ultimately a better you.
