“ My why….October at my son’s 3rd birthday party, I was probably between 270-280. walking across the park to take him to the bathroom was a bit of a struggle and looking at the picture of me and him I was let down with what I saw. That version of me my son will never see again. I want him to see me as the active dad with big muscles. As the person he aspires to be when he grows up. Not as an example of what not to become eating garbage food and drinking EVERYDAY. I managed to get down to 205 from 235 at the start of the challenge. I was no where near perfect during the challenge. The key is to learn how to be consistent and make sure you prioritize yourself, your health, and the goals you want to accomplish. Between kids, work, and cravings life be life in but you have to remember the reason you started this journey. Remember what you envisioned being at the end of challenge. 8 weeks seems like a long time but if you lock in 8 weeks is the perfect amount of time to build a foundation and make changes that can help you for a lifetime. Thank you 1upnutrition and the amazing community that has been built through the challenges.
